Hey, everyone! They say baseball is the great American pastime, but did you know baseball is really popular in Japan? While I was browsing through Ragstock in Wicker Park, I came across a rack of Japanese baseball jerseys.  One only comes across a rack of Japanese baseball jerseys so often, so I decided to buy this Hiroshima Toyo Carp jersey.  Turns out the Carp are far from the best in the league- but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t rep them wherever I go! I styled this jersey with denim shorts, a white cropped tee, and red converse for a laid back look.  Since it’s oversized, I can wear it as is or tie it in the front for two different looks!

Hey, everyone! It’s formal season yet again and instead of wearing a dress, I opted for a shirt and skirt combo.  I’ll be able to wear both the skirt and the shirt time and time again with different pieces in my wardrobe.  This look will keep me cool and classy.   I’m such a fan of both pieces that I’m considering buying this look in red! I highly recommend getting separates for formals because it’s more economical.  I’m planning to try wearing separates again next time I have to dress up.  Since I’m wearing black, I decided to take along my Lego clutch (remember this post?!?!? I finally have a Lego clutch!!) for a pop of color.  I’m also wearing SUPER comfortable heels that I got from Target – they add a good amount of height and my feet weren’t dying to get out at the end of this shoot like they usually are! This is probably my favorite formal look I’ve done so far – let me know what you think in the comments!
