Formal

Hey, everyone!  My sorority’s formal is coming up this Thursday evening (I’m a Pi Beta Phi), and I decided to share my formal look with you all! Dress shopping for formal events (sorority formals, prom, semi-formals etc) can be a bit of a hassle and somewhat stressful, so for this formal I used Dressometry (featured here) to save me time.

I logged on to dressometry.com and clicked on the “Design Your Own Dress” feature.  I knew I wanted a short and fit and flare dress for my formal, and my favorite color is blue.  However, the dress that popped up after I put in these parameters was very far out of my price range.  No big deal though, I simply adjusted the price filter on the right hand side to “Under $50.”  Your perfect match may not pop up as the Top Match, and in that case you can scroll down and browse all of the options that match the parameters you entered.  I scrolled down and found this amazing blue dress from Tobi that was on sale for $16! What a steal! This was definitely the perfect dress for me.

Since the dress is plain, I decided to amp up my accessories.  I paired this dress with my domino clutch bag and white platform sandals.
