Hey, everyone! I’m back this week to talk about something I admittedly don’t talk about enough: hair! For those who are wondering, I have very thick hair. Despite the fact that my hair strands are thick, they are not mighty. My hair gets very damaged even though I don’t style it with heat very often. My hair is dry and I often suffer from flyaways. Despite the fact that I’ve had #hairissues for a long time, I’ve never really tried to solve them. I was very excited to see that Influenster was trying to solve them for me by sending me a complimentary VoxBox with a bottle of L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil.
I’ve never used a product like this before, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to. The package I received came with a set of instructions saying this product can be used on either dry or wet hair, so naturally, I tested it on both!
I used this on dry, second-day hair. I don’t know about you guys, but when I skip washing my hair, my roots get oily but my ends get super dry. This oil rehydrated my dry ends successfully and smoothed out my frizz. I’m definitely going to count on this to refresh my hair when I don’t wash it!
On wet hair, this made my hair really manageable. Since I have thick hair, that means I have a tonnnn of volume (too much, in fact). I’m always trying to devolumize and de-pouf! This serum definitely made my hair dry beautifully- it was both shiny and easy to comb through.
I was so impressed with this product! I use serums for my face and it was really interesting to try one for hair. I definitely plan on using this to tame my mane on a regular basis. It smells great and I actually felt a difference after using this.

Did you like this review? Should I do more VoxBox reviews on the blog/on YouTube? Have you tried any hair oils or serums? Are you considering trying this oil after reading this post/watching the video? Leave your thoughts below in the comments! I don’t know too much about hair care so I’d love to hear what you all have to say regarding this topic.
