Top 5 Purchases I Made in May

Hey, everyone! I gotta be honest, I’m glad May is over. I have awful spring allergies, so I’m glad to be one step closer to the official start of summer. However, I made some pretty rad purchases this month. I’m excited to be adding more variety to this roundup series- two of this month’s purchases are food related, which is a first! Here are the top five things that came into my life this May:

1. Rebecca Minkoff M.A.C. Crossbody

Rebecca Minkoff had a huge sample sale earlier in May- and I finessed my employee discount to score my very own M.A.C. Crossbody bag. It’s roomier than it looks and the leather is extra soft. Fun fact: M.A.C. actually stands for “Morning After Clutch” and was one of Rebecca’s original designs!

2. Garden of Life Organic Sport Protein Bars

In college, I lived off of Clif bars but they aren’t the best for you. I’ve since made the switch to organic protein bars and I’m not looking back. I eat these for breakfast on my way to work every day. For those of you with dietary restrictions who are reading this, these bars are both vegan and gluten-free.

3. ZICAM Rapidmeltszicam may favorites

I recently came down with the common cold and was majorly bummed about it. My mom was actually the one who suggested I take these Zicam Rapidmelts and believe me, I was super skeptical. I took a day’s worth and my cold only lasted 2 days! 2 DAYS!!! Not bad at all. I am now convinced that Zicam is magic or something.

4. Shake Shack via the Shake Shack mobile app

So this one’s technically not a purchase per se, but wow is it life-changing. I work right near Madison Square Park (a.k.a. home of the OG Shake Shack) and the lines at lunch are insanely long. That’s no longer a problem for me thanks to the Shake Shack app. You can order your food ahead of time and pick it up- thereby completely skipping the line altogether. Totally changes the lunch game. The app is available for free on the App Store.

5. NYX Vivid Brights Crème Color

I’ve been rocking blue eye makeup since ~2008, so it’s no surprise that I picked up this blue crème color at my local Ulta. What was a surprise, however, was everyone’s reaction when I wore this color out as liner! So many people came up to me to tell me how cool it looked (even strangers!), so I went out and bought it in two additional colors.
