Hey, everyone! Now that Christmas is over, it’s time to go all out on New Year’s Eve! I love shiny things and dressing up, so I’d say NYE is one of my favorite times of the year. My usual go-to look is a sparkly dress, like the ones below:

Nothing wrong with a good ol’ sequin dress, but this year, I wanted to do something a little different. I decided to mix it up by nabbing this crystal blazer for a festive masc-meets-femme look. When I saw this blazer originally, I was a bit shy about wearing it – I didn’t know how to style a sparkly blazer! I decided to keep it simple since the blazer is the statement part of the outfit. For this look, I recommend going all-black everywhere else: jeans, clutch, and shoes. You can shop my look by clicking the links below:

Blazer: Rebecca Minkoff

Jeans: Topshop

If you’re still searching for your first outfit of the year, I’ve also rounded up some of my favorite NYE-appropriate bags and shoes from Amazon Prime.

An embellished blazer is definitely a more unexpected NYE outfit and I’m here for it. What are you wearing for NYE? Do you feel like you know how to style a sparkly blazer? How would you style one? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comments below. See y’all in 2019!
