It’s summer! That means it’s time for things like ice cream, the beach, and backyard BBQs. That also means it’s freakin’ HOT outside and idk about you, but I get real oily and sweaty REAL FAST (sorry if that was TMI). Since I’m sweating bullets on the reg, I’m much more inclined to take more showers in the summer than during any other season. Since I shower more in the summertime (and not to be presumptuous, but you probably do too!), it’s important for my hair health to use an ultra-nourishing shampoo and conditioner combo.
MY GO-TO SUMMER HAIR CARE ROUTINE
All that washing plus the heat from the sun really does a number on my strands, which can get super dry and damaged. That’s why I use Nature Box™ 100% Cold Pressed Avocado Oil Shampoo and Conditioner to keep my hair looking healthy and strong.
Now, you may be wondering, what the heck does “Cold Pressed” mean and why is that a big deal?? Nature Box’s five product lines feature oils extracted from the heart of fruits and nuts by a process called cold pressing. Cold pressing oils involves exerting pressure, without using excessive heat, so that the natural oils are released from the ingredients. Cold pressing involves no chemicals and no hot processes, which is super important! The cold pressed oils in Nature Box products are neither refined nor processed. Nature Box products are made with 100% cold pressed oil from coconuts, avocados, apricots, almonds, and macadamia nuts. We love a nature-inspired brand!
I use the Avocado Oil line in particular because it deeply repairs and restores the hair for a healthier look. It also renews dry hair and provides protection from split-ends, which ya girl desperately needs help with!
